Instant messaging app WhatsApp recently changed its privacy policy. Under this new policy, users’ data will be shared with third-party applications, including Facebook. For this new policy, usage notices are sent in the user’s application, which users must accept or reject.
If users do not accept this policy by February 8, WhatsApp will delete their account. The user’s data includes location information, IP address, time zone, phone model, operating system, battery status, signal strength, browser, mobile network, ISP, language, time zone, and IMEI number.
The number of messages or calls made by the user, his profile photo, last seen, status, and the group number are included in this data. In such a situation, many users are annoyed by WhatsApp privacy policy.
It is said that WhatsApp has taken this step as it wants to further enhance its partnership with Facebook, and it will prove to be beneficial. However, this raises a number of questions in the minds of users regarding their privacy.

Many users are dissatisfied with this WhatsApp privacy policy. In such a situation, they look for other ways. Apart from WhatsApp, many are moving towards applications like signal and telegram. However, if you do not accept the WhatsApp policy, your account will be deleted.
